I take a humanistic and person-centered approach. I use a variety of techniques including Art Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Each person has their own individual experiences, all of which are valid and important to explore. It is my job not to guide you to a golden answer or easy fix to whatever it is that you’re struggling with, but to walk alongside and explore with you with an open and accepting mind. It is important in this work to find moments to laugh together so that life's chaos is easier to successfully work through.
I am passionate about working with those who have experienced trauma, the LGBTQ+ community, foster care, and somatic symptoms. I have worked with many people in settings such as residential programs, both alternative and public schools, in-home therapy, and outpatient therapy.
I currently offer individual outpatient therapy in person and through telehealth for adults and teens. I am currently accepting self-pay and BCBS clients. I am waiting on credentialing with Optum and Point32.
